Dorota Sosnowska

I acquired lots of experiences during the specialization. Apart from acquiring essential practical skills related to project management, it was thanks to Culture Animation that I learned so much about the theatre which I now pursue academically. The specialization workshops made me realise what being on the stage means, how the perception of the body feels when clad in costume, lit with lights and surrounded by props. The specialization also provided me with tools for interpreting and understanding art, it developed a sensitivity to the ethical dimension of art and the community guided by it. The specialization classes were one of the most significant during all of my studies at the university.

Adjunct Professor at the Theatre and Performance Faculty and Deputy Director for Student Matters at the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw.

 

In the past, she also worked at the Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw (2009-2011), she coordinated culture projects at the Propaganda Foundation (since 2009), of which she is currently Vice Chairperson. The skills of writing applications, budgets, project coordination acquired in this work and the specialization is something she uses every day.
