In the academic year 2017/2018, the Culture Animation specialisation was executing a novel training programme focused on the Powiśle district – the venue of ongoing and future activities carried out under the Multi-year Programme for the Development of the University of Warsaw, and, at the same time, one of the most dynamically changing districts in Warsaw.

“Our universities” is an art and research project conducted as part of the multi-year programme “University of Warsaw 2016-2025” in the University of Warsaw Ochota Campus from January to June 2017. The main theme of the activities was a reflection on the university as a whole, both imagined and existing, namely the Ochota Campus.

Transgressing the walls of the university, the project was a reference to the idea of opening the academic world onto the social context, and the University of Warsaw onto the city of Warsaw.
