Remanent (Inventory) – the annual open days
Remanent (Inventory) – the annual open day of cultural studies was organized by the Culture Animation specialization in 2009-2019.
Each was prepared by a student group that worked together on the concept and theme of a given edition, program, organization, promotion and documentation. The open day was a summary of the year at Culture Animation specialization and Institute of Polish Culture. During the event, students presented their works on exhibitions, actions, discussions, film screenings, installations and concerts that took place in the Institute of Polish Culture building and on the Main Campus of University of Warsaw.

The motto of the seventh Inventory was: “Open-Closed”. We were interested in relations between the University and the city, the Institute of Polish Culture and Warsaw, but also in the location of the St. Roch’s Hospital at the University, its opening to the Main Campus and closing to the small courtyard. We were thinking about the individual needs of “closing in” or “opening to others”. We asked questions – What is open / closed at the Institute of Polish Culture?
