Agnieszka Hakizimana

Agnieszka Hakizimana absolwentka Animacji Kultury Instytutu Kultury Polskiej Uniwersytetu WarszawskiegoOwing to the Culture Animation specialization I learned about the Gardzienice and Węgajty theatres which we visited to take part in workshops and see their plays. It was love at first sight for me. Meeting those theatre companies was the reason why I became involved in alternative theatre. I wrote my MA thesis already as a member of the Studium Teatralne, a group whose work is inspired by the experience of Jerzy Grotowski. My MA thesis (on the concepts of Stanisławski and Grotowski) was a combination of my personal experience and research work. I find my theatre stint inspired by the Culture Animation internships to be one of the best experiences of my life.
